and very much appreciated.

Programming out the cable channels was probably the best thing that could have happened to my blood pressure. And- yes, it was an addiction- and like most addictions- and unhealthy one.

It got so bad during 2000 that I started throwing things- and my SO got me these little stuffed animal things, so I could throw them at the TV and not do any damage!

(this was after I smashed 2 remotes in one week).
