Bear in mind that this is the same pack of nimrods who have slowly but surely developed a stranglehold over our system of government during the last 20-odd years. They're also the same nimrods that keep beating us. However they manage it, through legitimate means or rigged elections, they have been smart enough to get away with it and put this country on the brink of disaster.

Ignore them at our peril. Dumb or not, they are in power. They have developed and are utilizing a coherent plan. Those of us who oppose them have yet to find a viable strategy for stopping them. If they're really all that stupid, we must barely register as sentient.
