30. Did you ever see, "Suddenly, Last Summer"?
Early 1960s film adaptation of a Tennessee Williams play set on Corsica starring Elizabeth Taylor and her repressed gay brother/boyfriend?, Montgomery Clift.

It's implied in the film that the Clift character has a thing for local boys. Anyway, in the concluding scene Clift is pulled down into a grave by the upstretched arms of his pedophilia victims. That's sort of a metaphor for his plunge into guilt.

I kind of imagine that the troops turning on him would be an equally fitting fate for W.
