costs, especially for those in high cost blue cities. Without some exemptions, it encourages current spending and discourages frugality and savings, which is not good for a government that needs to make sure its citizens are provided for in retirement.

We can all disagree with certain specific proposals but I think Reich has the right idea about articulating "What We're For". i wonder what Jon Stewart, who has been a leading critic of the lack of clearly articulated plans, would think of his list.
