Whether or not she think he "deserved" it, the malice of her statement is quite telling.

When all is said and done, she never met Tookie, for all she knows Tookie was made up by the news or MGM Studios or might have been real, Tookie could be dead or alive and the impact would be the same, and the idea of his life or death is all just an abstract even now.

Odd that someone would sit up all night waiting on the death of an abstract. That's a flawed human.
