2. McCain is DOA.
He's not fundie enough for the Repubs. Plus he'll be what, 72? And he has had health issues. And last but not least, he's been carrying water for Shrub, which would be a big burden to live down if Bush ends up bring looked at as the Nixon of the modern era, which he already has a big start on. Despite his popularity, he was beaten by Shrub in 2000, and he's weaker than ever before.
