67. I'm damn proud to be an early member of the draft Clark
campaign. Even if Clark were to lose OK (which I hope he doesn't) we may be able to still have his brains/prestige/gravitas in our party. He could still be VP, Sec of ST or Sec of Defense. Even if he just goes home (which I wouldn't blame him) and happily retires and gets rich (I hope he does)and writes that tell-all book...he will have done wonderful things for our country and our party. He will be the most seeked expert on the war with terrorism. He'll go down in history as a great patriotic American hero...which he is! Go Wes Go...I'm with ya till the door hits me in the back! Maybe that door will knock me flat on my face...but I will get up and attack the Republican media with as much enthusiasm as I had for Clark.
