however i DO fully expect an actual terra attack at some point, if only to justify war against iran. i'd rather expect them to FIRST pretend to have killed bin laden though, and very close to the election. they could produce his 'head', then have CIA call any subsequent bin laden tapes 'fakes'. it would of course be later proven to be complete bullshit. one glaring problem with the terra attack would be that the public would blame bush for it, wondering why all the curtailment of civil liberties and the like hadn't prevented it. i'd call it a real gamble.
