I changed the heading of my post, perhaps after you already started to reply. But the message had to do with the effect Ford is having and the effect the war is having on the evangelicals. As you might have seen in the article, white evangelical support for the Republican party is down 14 pts thats nationally.

I believe that the churches have to learn this lesson the hard way, about abuse of political power that is, I think they are figuring it out, too slow to be sure.
