7. Before they rolled over on Iraq war funding, the approval was 40%
which was near a record high for Congress. After they rolled over like good little puppy dogs, the approval rating was 23%. That's still quite a bit higher than the last Congress enjoyed, but you'd think a 17 point drop would have awakened a few of them.

If they roll over again in September, they can kiss 2008 goodbye. Only the fundies will get out and bother to vote.
