3. That really fried me - that when Biden had actually called Musharraf and Bhutto
because he realized the gravity of the situation, the Bush administration was still making statements to "call on Musharraf..." It wasn't until later that Condi contacted Musharraf and even then it was just to relay Bush's message (which very well may have been parroting Biden's statement).
I'm uncertain as to whether or not Condi has even spoken to Mrs. Bhutto - since Musharraf is their guy they may have not felt the need.
And is it any wonder that Musharraf also called Biden for input? I'm guessing he wanted to speak with someone who understood the situation, not Bush's dummy Condi.
