Gaskill, a former Wapello County auditor, praised the Delaware senator's bipartisan abilities to draft landmark legislation, including his plan for Iraq and legislation combating violence against women.
"Sen. Biden has proven he can build bipartisan consensus on the most important challenges facing our country," Gaskill said in a statement. "He is sincere, authentic and I believe he is the best candidate the Democrats have -- and that is why I am supporting him."
