34. Polls
The fact remains Mccain will be a tough opporent.let's admit that.We should hope Romney wins In
Florida because he Is easier to beat.People should remember at times Bush was leading Gore by double
digets and we aw they had to steal it to keep Gore out.Obama being tied with Mccain Is good news.
Why once he appeared he would lose easily to Hillary. He Is such a threat the Clinton machine has
to try to destroy him. Some want to Ignore reality but Obama Is more popular with Independents. With
Obama we have a chance to beat Mccain among them. And the fact remains some Democrats don't like her.
Don't forget people part of Reagen's two victorys and Bush 1's victory was because some working class Democrats voted for them over Carter,Mondale, and Dukakis.Mccain has the poential to get some
Democrat votes. But Some who don't like Hillary would vote for Obama and Obama has the poentail to reach some voters who went for Bush.Roosevelt,Truman,Kennedy,Johnson,Carter all won by building up coalion of voters, and for the most part they were liked.I can assure you for a fact In my family Hillary Is not popular.Look at the ratings of Senators Obama has more of a Liberal voting record
than she does.Say what you want about Obama's health care plan History shows The Clintons failed
miserbly with their health care plan before, and It cost us Congress. As a Great Missouri Democrat
named Harry Truman said the Buck stops here.So part of that loss has to be on the Clintons.Imagne
how hard It will be to go after Obama on the war by Republicans. He came out and oppossed It while
The CLintons were supporting Bush.Even In 2006 Obama was with Kerry and others for a timetable to
get out of Iraq while Hillary was oppossed.Hillary can be attacked as a flipflopper on Iraq by Mccain Obama can't.WHen the final Bankrupcicy bill passed Hillary voted for It Obama did not.
Obama has propsed making the wealthy pay more In Social security while Hillary attacked him saying It was a tax Increase using Republican talking points. And the fact that Obama Is getting support from Democrats who win In States that Bush won should say something about Electabilty.
