""Mr. Kerry closed out his day in New York by raising money. His campaign said that a gala at the Sheraton New York raised $6 million and that another at a nightclub, Crobar, brought in $500,000. The campaign said the total was a one-day record for New York."

Bush was formerly the benchmark for raising record amounts of campaign money. Since the press conference trainwreck, he hasn't dared to be caught blatently fundraising. Although, knowing the King of Greed, he is probably running a heavy duty $1000 a hand card game from the WH bunker.
