Read the linked article in the OP. Obama's ties to Rezko are very deep, go back many years and he is indebted to the guy for virtually buying him the public offices he has held.
$220,000 isn't chump change.
And the circle of people involved in funneling money to Obama's campaign from the US to the ME to Africa to the US is very interesting indeed.
