115. Thank you for post GrantCart and thank you DUers for your honest posts.
I've actually seen several threads start to speak to the bitterness and lost jobs, until the conversations get sidetracked.
It finally hit me how bad things actually are in so many places. I mean, its one thing to think you know, but to hear story after story after story, from the actual people living through it. Oh, what an eye-opener.

Prior to my interest in this election, I used to give the MSM very little of my attention because of all the negative stories, crime, death, etc. In doing so, I didn't have much reason to doubt the soundbites that got through. But, once I started paying attention, I realized how badly they spin things. I have gone through moments of feeling absolute anger, disgust and hopelessness watching what they focus on, the lies they tell and how they sway the thinking of many. I am now of the mind, that we need to develop another major outlet for consistent truth and issue-focus.

"We think in credit: spending the dollar in our pockets today because we believe we'll get another dollar tomorrow. When we don't believe in that next buck we don't spend the one we have so easily."

"People may be dumb about a lot of things, but start messing with their money and see how smart they become."

War, economy, healthcare and jobs - we have some big issues that bind many of us together across the United States.
We are being opposed by power, greed and control. That extends beyond these elections. Those who benefit by any of those things, do not want us believing that we are bitter, angry or even in trouble.

We need Barack Obama in the White House and we need to fight with him now, and over the next eight years.
