Yes, I voted. And yes, I want everyone to have their opportunity to vote. But that has nothing to do with all of the negative shit-slinging (it's gone way beyond mud-slinging) I've seen around here. There are far too many here who seem to rejoice in the negativity, or, at the very least, to be more willing to bash the other candidate and their backers than to praise their own. Didn't everyone's mother tell them "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything"? Well guess what - now is the time to put that advice to good use.

I truly wish I could lay blame for this on trolls and FReepers, but I've seen the same behavior from people who have been here longer than I and it sickens me. So I say, "ENOUGH!" I've had it up to eye level with it and if some here were a child, I would suggest it's time for that rare spanking.
