17. Your post inspired me

to revisit Barbara Jordan, who was one of the most knowledgable and eloquent patriots this nation has ever produced. Listen again (and you really should LISTEN, just to hear her resounding voice) to her speech before the House Judiciary Committee discussing the impending impeachment of Nixon. Would that we had legislators today who possessed her courage. Would that Nancy Pelosi had read that speech.....
