he'll get a pass on it.

I wouldn't be calling it a pass but for his statements a couple of weeks ago in support of the bill and his having to explain on his website. He will be able to say he voted against immunity and/or the entire bill and have it both ways.

In any event, if it helps him win in November, fine.
