He got mauled by the media last time, and while none of that was his fault, and while any Democratic pick is going to get mauled, I don't think Kerry really survived it well. Plus, we already have Massachusetts. On the other hand, he's a definite achiever, he's got some executive experience as Lt Governor, and I just like the guy.

I'd pick Clinton, Richardson, and Bob Graham, in that order, before Kerry, but I wouldn't be disappointed at all in him as VP.
