31. Prepared for what?
If they steal the election the Democratic Party leadership will roll over, much like they did in 2000 and 2004, and election fraud will continue to be the topic "best left unspoken." On DU there will be a mass of threads in GD and GDP screaming about this for several weeks, a rash of protests, and then we will settle into another long 4 years under Grandpa and Dopey Spice.

So what are we preparing, our rant? Our protest sign? Our legal proxy to call when we end up in jail? Man if the game is rigged, then it will be the same old crap under a different name.

Now I know, attitudes like mine are exactly why nothing was done in 00 and 04, right? Or maybe it's the fact that we're a party with high ideals that are led by gutless cowards terrified of the next hit piece put out by O'Reilly. Tell you what, if you're right and McCain does win through fraud (which seems to be his only chance now) organize a general strike, if you can get it off the ground, I'll actually stop work like everyone else. But if this is all just so much ominous hot air, then spare me, I'm getting enough of it from Wall Street these days to more than overfill my quota.
