Reply #25: Signs don't vote [View All]

I live in the reddest of red state of Utah. I proudly displayed my Obama/Biden signs, and was encouraged by the ratio of signs for Obama. The facts did not support my expectations. It was about 66/32 for McCain. On another note, I canceled my 30 year subscription to my hometown (county) newspaper today because as of last night's edition, they still have not mentioned Obama being elected President other than in passing as a comparison to McCain's great win in the County. They did, however, print a full color photo of the county showing a sea of red with only one small precinct going blue for Obama (this town has less than 50 people). The Church has a tremendous amount of influence on the vote in this state. They can deny it all they want, but the facts speak for themselves (think Prop 8).
