Bush urges A&M grads to consider a life of service

COLLEGE STATION — President George W. Bush urged new college graduates to embark upon a life of service today as he delivered the commencement address at Texas A&M University.

He also offered a little other advice: Listen to your mother, and honor your role models.

His parents, former president George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush, just happened to be on hand for that message. They shared the stage at what Bush said would be his last commencement address as president.

"It's always an honor to be introduced by the president of the United States," Bush said. "Especially when he's your dad.
