6. Even I knew all those things by September 13, 2001.
And I'm no government insider! In his book "Against All Enemies" Richard Clark writes that everybody had been expecting a major al Quaeda strike against the United States. They knew it was Osama bin Laden as soon as the second plane struck the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11.

It turned out that the FBI knew all the men involved in the 9/11 attacks for months prior to the attacks. They knew exactly who they were, where they were from, and their ties to al Quaeda. They knew all about Saudi Arabia's funding of al Quaeda.

Apparently the FBI never shared this information with the CIA or the FAA. That apparent breakdown in communication is one of the major issues looked into by the 9/11 Commission. However, by 9/13/2001 everybody knew this.

Prince Bandar is so close to the Bush family he is known by a nickname within the family. President Bush told Prince Bandar that we were going to invade Iraq before he told the Secretary of State, Colin Powell. That was in the spring of 2003.

The close business and family connections between the Saudi Arabian royal family and the Bush family are well known.
