26. Have to agree with the principle even though the word choice is cringe-worthy
Open conversation across the aisle is good, but compromising away the Democratic mandate of 2006 and 2008 is not. We have the numbers in Congress and the White House too. Democrats are behind the wheel now. This is what all of us worked to make happen. We need to seize the time and suffer no more Republicrat nonsense and pretend solutions. We need to govern based on the strength of our ideas and push for sound policy on the big issues. Anything less is a wasted opportunity.
