14. Yes, CaliforniaPeggy. I am tired too.
I am not too tired to keep shouting and arguing and fighting. But I'm tired.

I'm sick of having to fight up-hill against a system that presumes that profits are a just and reasonable motive for denying people their health and even their lives.

I am sick of politicians that pretend that they represent us, paying us only lip service. while they sit down daily with the lobbyists and representatives of those same profit-motivated corporations who don't value our health or our lives.

Who will come to our aid? That's a damned good question. When will the people we elect really represent us? When will they work for our benefit and well-being first and foremost?

We have a party with no courage to aspire to anything except power, and power corrupts. The Democratic Party is so poisoned with corruption that even with a supposedly bullet-proof majority they can't get anything significant done.

We have a party with no apparent core beliefs, no central ethic to hold the party together, and without that the party hasn't been able to rise up and hold itself together at all. We have instead a disorganized party that wastes opportunities.
