We've got one week until we descend on evlbstrd's house for our monthly DU meetup. Coincidentally (or not! :eyes:) next Friday is also St. Patrick's day. :woohoo:

We talked about a potluck. So who's in and who's bringing what? Let's start planning.

I'm thinking brownies. Good old-fashioned brownies.

Also, Helen Thomas is speaking on Tuesday, March 14th at Woodruff Auditorium in the Kansas Union in Lawrence. No tickets are required and the start time is listed as 7:30 p.m. The offer to drop by my house (talk, have a beer, gossip) and then head up to the Union en masse for the lecture/appearance is still open (I know I still need to send directions to atommom).
