will be quick and dirty "big box" retail architecture and provide union jobs only during construction. Afterward it'll employ "sales associates" at teeny increments above minimum wage and no benefits.

If the AFL-CIO thinks this is a good idea, I'm for the SEIU schism.

Meanwhile, the one time I actually saw Pat Jehlen in action, she was here in the downtown office building I work with, trying to persuade the facilities manager that unionized janitors would improve our workplace. (I snuck her in on my ID card, and caught a moderate ration of shit for it.) I don't think she's lacking in labor cred.
