AMERICAN BLACKOUT-a must see film: from FL to GA to Franklin Co OH

I went to the Columbus premier of American Blackout last evening with a discussion afterward by Director Ian Inaba (has directed Eninem's videos) and special guest Congresswoman CYNTHIA MCKINNEY. This film won a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. It deals with the American Medias blackout and distortion on what should be news worthy stories such as investigating 911 and of course the theft of the 2000, 2002 and 2004 elections. It was a heart wrenching film to re-witness the blatant civil rights abuses at the hands of the GOP. The film includes BBC/UK Guardian Investigative Reporter Greg Palast and local icons Bob Fitrakis and Cliff Arnebeck. It was an audience winner and Cynthia received a standing ovation. (I hope all those who speak poorly of her see this film!)

This film is scheduled to get wider viewing later this summer. I hope many of you will make the effort to see this film and get the word out.

PS For Central Ohioans out there...Greg Palast will be in Columbus OH on June 20th to discuss his new book ARMED MADNESS. Details will be up on Freepress.org site soon.
