Turn OFF the Computer and Do Something!

Yesterday in my little town of San Luis Obispo CA (which is in a very red, county in a blue state), we had about 200 protesters marching through the streets with drummers playing drum cadences and people chanting and holding signs that said things like:

Fair Election? Prove It!
and
NO PAPER TRAIL = NO DEMOCRACY

People, average ordinary people, came out of coffee shops and stores to cheer us on.
IT FELT SOOO GOOOD!
This election fraud stuff and the lack of media coverage or Democratic Party attention has literally made me feel like I was going crazy. I've had trouble sleeping and I've been very distracted at work. Not only was this march great therapy, but we got the message to hundreds of people who probably never watch anything but Main Stream Media.

There is only so much we can do on the internet, although sites like DU are critical and invaluable for spreading the word, emails and websites are very easy for people to dismiss. Drums echoing off the buildings of their town are not.

We need to march everywhere, and often. DU will still be there when you get home.
