26. Kick GOP+46, and how to keep score.

For those of you who like a horse race:

Divide each candidate's vote gain by the number of votes so far
counted for that candidate:

D:

144/235938 = 0.0006103298324136

R:

190/322867 = 0.000588477608426999

The candidate with the bigger number is "in the lead"

To make up 42 votes, Gregoire has to get her "score" this
much above Rossi:

42/1372442 = .0000307 (rounded up)

Today was a good day. Rossi was leading before today, and Gregiore
is now close to where she needs to be to win the hand recount. He
should have picked up more in Yakima.

(And that of course doesn't include the hundreds of uncounted King County ballots, but it would be nice if the victory didn't have to
rely on those entirely. And one spurious major glitch could push
the race one way or the other really fast.)
