I sent this to Byrd, Biden, Carper and Castle just now. Of course, for the Delaware guys, I removed the first sentence and edited the last paragraph.

I know that I am not a consituent of your's, but I felt like I had to write and ask for your support. Rep. Conyers has been doing a superb and thorough job in his investigation of election fraud and voter disenfranchisement in Ohio. As you know, being a Democrat and in the minority in this Congress, he has been working with his hands tied behind his back.

I am writing you to ask that you stand in support of his work on this investigation, in support of the disenfranchised voters of all races in the 2004 election, and stand in support and protection of our Democracy and our Constitution.

If the Democrats and moderate Republicans don't stick together on this issue, this may be the last time anyone needs to worry about doing anything in Congress at all. I've been trying to impress upon Sens. Biden, Carper, and Rep. Castle that either the Congress stands for Democracy and the Consitution or they sit in blatant support of election fraud. There is no gray area here.

I know I don't need to tell you that our country is going to hell in a handbasket in an increasingly alarming rate. We need to use every measure in our power to stop this insanity and fix the system. Our country was in decent shape and thriving just four short years ago. We can't live thru another term unchecked as we have these last 4 years. There will be nothing left of our once great country or of our democracy as we once knew it.
