can someone tell me what #11 Virginia Tech and #13 Michigan are doing playing in a BCS bowl? Shouldn't those prime positions be reserved solely for automatically qualifiers and at large teams with the highest rankings?
Look how this system has screwed things up. VT loses by 28 points and gets rewarded with a BCS bowl bid. And the second best team in the Big 10 is Michigan State, not Michigan. Was I imagining things or didn't MSU beat and finish ahead of the Wolverines in the conference? The Spartans actually got punished for playing and losing in a Big 10 championship game that could have gone either way..
