Why DADT? Why ENDA? Why not DOMA????

Don't get me wrong, they should all be addressed. But my experience has been that when companies finally think it through, they come to the conclusion that if they want the best and brightest, it doesn't make sense to exclude anyone. And rewrite their policies to attract the best and to create welcoming environments for everyone, including GLBT's. So with ENDA and DADT, time is on our side...whether we work to that end or not.

My thinking is that DOMA will never be overturned without strong coordinated pressure, yet this is not getting any attention. Sure, throw the gays a bone with an executive order for visitation *priveleges*, but we need to get DOMA repealed so that marriage and all the rights that come with it can be made available to gay people.

I think our priorities are out of order.
