7. You may be right, and I don't want to back down from the successes ENDA and DADT have had,
but my thinking is that I live in a state where I can be fired based on sexual orientation. Knowing that, I targeted my search with employers who have made advances in their policy to include orientation as part of their non-discrimination. And I am not sure even with ENDA that an employer that wants to get rid of an employee can likely create another reason. They have to be on board with equal treatment for all. In the end, they (as well as the military) are the losers. And once they realilze this, then change will happen.
