I think it's funny that it is more important how we say what we say than what we say. There is something a little unreal about that. If someone says... "all I was saying was that gay sex is equal in my mind to fucking parakeets, I have a right to my opinion, gosh..." then we are supposed to react calmly, "why good sir, I humbly defer! why my relationship is nothing like fucking parakeets, why we are two loving adults in a consenting relationship. I beg of thee, please give us a chance" as opposed to the more appropriate response, which is WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU'RE WORSE THAN HEADLICE!
