5. You know, we like to think of the 20th century as pot-boiling
but it was boring compared with the 19th in the US.

Election fraud, division, schism, war, war, war, civil war, war, war, genocide, greed, constitutional abrogations are just a start of the problems.

Of course, we also had genius, inguenity, progress (for chosen ones), increasing stability, etc.

never really thought of it long-term before.
