1. This happened to me when I unistalled one version of NAV, and loaded

another version.

It corrupted my winsock stack, and I had to rebuild it. Even an upgrade install didn't fix it.

This can happened when you uninstall certain programs. It used to be very rare, but it's happening more and more.
