Sometimes you feel very empowered and other times you are aware of another strong personality overpowering you. At times it feels like a battle for survival.

Pallas is right - It is the Pluto transit, stationary February through April, square your Sun. This situation will resolve will retreat but not be resolved until, with another intense wave of energy, the last phase in December. But then it moves to square your natal Mercury next year. I think that one won't be as difficult. You can channel a good bit into writing and intellectual activity in 2006.

This will be a very transformative year for you and you will be very empowered by the time it is over and in a very different space (?different job?) than you are now.
