With your permission, I will be posting printouts of this edited as the 40 reasons.

And yes I almost qualify on fourteen. I agree with Hillary that it takes a village but I think she is a total fool to think that the police action ran and looted by the neocon junta can possibly have any positive results. To support this is historically ignorant, fiscally irresponsible, ethically challenged and politically expedient. With that in mind, she should know better. If I sound angry, it is the anger of one who has seen the clay heels of a hero once held dear and defended. Here is how I feel about Hillary:

ICHABOD (gender altered from original)

by: John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892)

So fallen! so lost! the light withdrawn
Which once she wore!
The glory from her gray hairs gone
Forevermore!

Revile her not, the Tempter hath
A snare for all;
And pitying tears, not scorn and wrath,
Befit her fall!

Oh, dumb be passion's stormy rage,
When she who might
Have lighted up and led her age,
Falls back in night.

Scorn! would the angels laugh, to mark
A bright soul driven,
Fiend-goaded, down the endless dark,
From hope and heaven!

Let not the land once proud of her
Insult her now,
Nor brand with deeper shame her dim,
Dishonored brow.

But let its humbled sons, instead,
From sea to lake,
A long lament, as for the dead,
In sadness make.

Of all we loved and honored, naught
Save power remains;
A fallen angel's pride of thought,
Still strong in chains.

All else is gone; from those great eyes
The soul has fled:
When faith is lost, when honor dies,
The girl is dead!

Then, pay the reverence of old days
To her dead fame;
Walk backward, with averted gaze,
And hide the shame!
