The fact that media has barely mentioned this detainee bill. This is a VERY big deal and they're not mentioning it. It's like they know it's going to be overturned.
You can see that the media has turned on Bush and the Repubs - It's all negative negative lately. IMO - they are very alarmed at what's been going on with Bush and his unchecked power. They know it's not good for everything to be under one Party. The CIA and the military having been battling Bush for a while now. Powell, Armitage and others had been battling with Bush and Cheney. Rice hasn't been agreeing with them.
I think someone from the media was "holding" this Foley info until now and also a lot of the Allen stuff.
I heard somewhere (can't remember where - but it might have been on Tweety) that a lot of Republicans also didn't want to have that torture bill passed - but you know how they can get threatened by BushCo. They also were too chicken to stand up to BushCo becasue they didn't want to lose their seats also.
The Corporate powers are concerned because all these military screwups are affecting the economy. Our reputation is ruined across the world. They are most likely being pressured by foreign investors. In case people don't know - many foreign entities own a BIG piece of America. AND American Corporations own a big piece of most of the other countries. Any time a country around the world goes belly up financially - it effects all of the financial institutions across the world. Our banks have lent billions to most of the other countries around the world and vice versa. If any country goes bankrupt - it sends shudders throughout all the financial institutions.
I've been having this funny feeling now for a few days and have been noticing how a lot of the insiders on CNN, MSNBC have been acting - little snippets and comments here and there.
Not to be weird but I have always sort of had a "sixth sense" about these things - and about people and I have a funny feeling....
