Lobby reform Bill defeated. Just got this in an email!

The lobby reform bill, S.1, The Legislative Transparency and Accountability Act of 2007, including its sinister Section 220, has gone down in defeat!

After failure to achieve the necessary 60 votes to proceed toward ratification, the Democrats and Sen. Harry Reid, sponsor of the bill, have conceded defeat.

Again, the people have spoken and prevailed! Many receptionists at Senate offices confirm they have been besieged with protests against the bill and its oppressive, grassroots-crushing Sec. 220.

Democratic leaders thought passage of this lobby reform bill was assured. Yet protest led by the National Prayer Network and other large Christian/conservative activist groups, such as Focus on the Family, Concerned Women for America, Traditional Family Values Coalition, etc., brought it down.

All lovers of freedom are now empowered to concentrate on a much, much greater threat still looming in Congress: the federal anti-hate bill, H.R. 254. Come to www.truthtellers.org for instructions on how to attain an even greater victory!
