Scottie tells us today that our credibility in Iraq rests on the fact that we did what we said we would do. We said we'd go to war, and we did. He denied that credibility might rest on the accuracy of our reasons for what we did. He tells us that is how we are looked on by tyrants everywhere. His words, not mine.

It seems incredulous to me that the White House feels its target audience for creditability are the world's tyrants

I would suggest that to the American people credibility rests with the truth. It would be nice if we were the target audience for a display of that rare commodity for a change.
