they ended up printing more information the next day about "experts" and the Jewish Iranian parliament member calling it false, but they never actually said it was an incorrect story.

The fucking title of this backing off was "Iranian embassy denies dress code". That's pathetic.
It should have been "We were wrong about the Iran law for Jews".
Although the story did contain most of the new information on who was saying what by the next day, they never retracted and from the title it's obvious they are less than contrite.
