A time to worry,

So, we have Rove being cleared. We have Rove in charge of political planning again (even without the title). We have Boy George visiting the troops so long as 70,000 of them are guarding the streets. We have the newsies citing Newt that Bush is back.

why should we worry?

Not because of Bush's actions or the Fitz decision. No, it is something far worse and more dangerous.

It is the lack of conviction, strength and reality in our democratic leadership. If you think that the Iraqi government is shaky and fragile, it is far stronger than the Democratic leadership. My worry is that they will look at these Rovian moves and forget about all the planning, all the decisions, and all the progress they were starting to make.
What worries me is not how the country will react to the GOP ploys, but how our leaders in Congress react.
