24. Two words -- "Lighten up"

First of all you missed my point. The best way to counter an attention seeker is to deny them the attention and the response they are deliberatly trying to provoke.....The worst thing for Annie and her media machine to become would be irrelevant and boring.

Much as I dislike Coulter and what she stands for, the principle of free speech does apply. And, in her case, the more we get upset, the more we feed both her ego and the media machine that cashes in on her.

Also, freedom IS a comple subject. Especially whenb it comes to where the line between free speech and actual criminal intent is concerned.

The people who make dangerous plans are a lot different than people who say obnoxious things.

The cranks in the wilderness who want to really wipe out any non-white, non-Christian, non-ultra-right wing Americans and who are stashing away guns ARE a different matter than some shrill, shallow media celebrity.

And I think you'd find that most of Coulter's "fans" are geeks who were losers in high school, but couldn't land a punch if their life depended on it. That's a whole different matter than countering potential Tim McVeighs.
