The Hartford Courant has one side effect of the Lieberman-Lamont primary contest: "From May through Friday, 11,496 unaffiliated voters became registered Democrats. From May through the end of July, 10,344 new voters became registered Democrats."

3 days ago there was a mention that 20k NON affiliated (independents)... signed up to be democrats.

Most independents I know .. tend to vote republican.. or in this case is not possible it wasn't a landslide because 20k newly registered democratic formerly independent voters voted for Joe?

We didn't get the landslide we were hoping for and polls were certainly off, Going in Lamont had a much larger point spread.

So something happened,

It great that we won it, the problem still is keeping the momentum moving forward. Perhaps giving Indies a 4 month dead line just like republicans might help stop such things from happening
