I just heard a poll number on CNN that I thought was worth repeating. Let the good
news sink into your hearts, if you haven't digested this statistic yet.

Joe Lieberman's approval rating--going into the primary was...60 percent.

Let's rephrase that: People liked Lieberman. They thought he was doing a good job. He
had a high approval rating.

Yet. He lost. He couldn't hold onto his Senate seat--even with a 60 percent approval rating.

Ladies and gentlemen...hold on to your butts--because anyone and anything attached to BushCo is total toast in the upcoming elections. Even if your constituents think that you're a swell guy--you are not safe. Across the board in this country--the majority of Americans are sick of Bush, sick of the Iraq war, sick of the lies, sick of the corruption, sick of the scandals, sick of bungling fool who is our pResident. It's not just Democrats--many Independents and some Republicans are distancing themselves from BushCo--and this is clearly reflected in all national polls.

America wants change and they want it yesterday.

All Republicans up for re-election are shaking in their silk boxers tonight. They understand that there's no way to undo the damage caused by years of being a BushCo lemming. They see what happened to Lieberman--a well-liked Senator--and it happened SOLELY because he was perceived to be too close to Bush. Republicans understand that there are hundreds of sound bytes that can be used against them in very effective political ads (Iraq war, Terri Schiavo, Katrina, the deficit, etc).

Did you listen to right-wing-radio today? They're so angry and anxious--they're emotionally splitting at the seams. They know the end is near. That's why we're hearing Dick Cheney conjure up his old shtick, "A vote for the Dems is a vote for Osama!" Desperate words from Republicans who know the party is nearing an end.

The nightmare is almost over, folks.
