i had scheduled to make air reservations today, of course, now they cannot be made until i can confirm whether or not i can carry on electronics and optics to my destination

i must be able to carry-on my valuables, they are worth far more than any air ticket, and the air line does not compensate you when they are stolen from your checked luggage, as happens quite regularly from my airport

if they don't straighten this out quickly i predict cessation of operations for at least one airline and severe economic repercussions for all of them

business travels need laptops and electronics, period

if the restrictions on laptops, electronics is just in place for the u.k. i guess you could still travel to continental europe then take the eurostar if you must go to u.k.? but what would stop terrorists from targeting the trains next? they have already really -- look at madrid

britain needs to get a handle on this, they are an island, they could find themselves handicapped severely if there is not a harsh crackdown on such plots

the bojinka plot foiled in the 90s may have even included contact lens solution, well, i'm sorry, but you CANNOT deny people their contact lens solution on a flight of any length, seems like mr. clinton was able to handle such plots w. far less boom and far less hysteria and inconvenience to business and the traveling public
