On DU bought it. Even longtime posters who I happen to have a great deal of respect for.

The fly in the ointment is because it must be legit because "The Brits broke it up."

Please. Blair has been Bush's lapdog since this whole thing began. I consider Blair even more dangerous than Bush, because unlike our own giggling killer, he is very intelligent, eloquent, and that makes him very, VERY dangerous, because despite his poodle status, a lot more people find him believable.

And to me it is absolutely no surprise that now these things will all of a sudden be broken up in Britain.

They HAVE to use the other side of the pond now because they have completely played out the terror alert bullshit in this country.

To me this is just another stage in their game. Another move on the chess boards.

What, I wonder, is it going to take to get people to realize the game that is being played here.

I have the worst feeling that even if they started rounding us up in boxcars, upon arrival at the camps, far too many of us, even people who are informed and intellectual, would mutter amongst themselves and others behind the barbed wire and shrug "Well, at least the terrorists can't get us in here."

We are fast becoming a nation of pant-shitting cowards, willing to take everything at face value at the first sign of "BOO!"

I am absolutely disgusted, and I am sick and tired of living like this.

This isn't the kind of world I want to live in, nor my family.

And yes, my assertions and attitude aren't going to play well with some.

Frankly my dears, I don't give a damn.

I'm sick of living in fear, and living under the thumb of fanatical, greedy, fascist, opportunists.

Maybe some are willing to surrender all of their freedom so American Idol can continue unabated.

I am not.

Nor will I ever.
